The osprey are anxious...
The gulls are waiting too...
Yours truly is checking 3-4 times a day...
People are stopping by Mill Pond, looking, waiting...

Friday Mill Pond 3 PM there were to alewives in the upper pool just before the white bar. They did not elect to make the move over the white bar in the period from 3:00 - 3:10 that I waited for them to bust on through, but they were there. Tom Burgess - Cotuit

Thanks Tom. I was there for 15-20 minutes at noon and nothing. These were probably scouts [someone today said they saw a few yesterday]. These guys aren't enough to trigger starting counting, need to see dozens. My guess is this weekend.
